Uri Hartuv earned first place at Concept Midweek Game #9 on Thursday night.
Uri built an early chip lead, and used it to good effect at final table – making the final 4 eliminations to earn victory!
What was even more impressive was the fact that this was Uri’s fourth consecutive final table at Concept.
This was after the Top 3 agreed to split R3000 apiece, and played for the points.
Uri beat Bentley Louw in the heads-up battle, with 87 being enough to see off the win.
Uri also eliminated Paul Williams, who had a decent game to finish third on the night.
Dimitri Stephanis fell short in 4th place, when his AJ was beaten by Uri’s pocket 5s.
Timothy Fairbairn had his Jacks cracked by Uri’s 75 to finish in 5th place.
William Francis earned the bubble prize in 6th spot, as his AJ was beaten by Bentley’s pocket 4s.
Tony Smith fell short on the money as he was eliminated in 7th place, his A3 was dominated by Dimitri’s AJ.
Chris Hadzi was unlucky to fall out in 8th spot as his 10s were cracked by Bentley’s pocket 2s.
Brian Sampson rounded up the Top 9 as he exited in 9th place.

Jerome Hendricks earned the bounty points when he eliminated last week’s champion Gareth Duncan.
