SPOILS SHARED IN CONCEPT CURTAIN RAISER!

Francis Chetty and Strini Govender were the big winners at the Concept R500 Turbo warm-up fixture on Thursday night.

It was a great start to the year of live poker as 29 players turned up in Janu-worry for the R500 Turbo, creating a prize pool of R15000!

We then decided to offer more play on the tables by upping the blinds to 18mins.

And the tournament proved to be a great warm-up for all players as we gear up for an action-packed poker scheduled in 2022.

Francis and Strini were the big stacks among the final 3, and agreed to take home R4500 each.

Riyadh Slamang was the short stack among the final 3, and received R3000 for his efforts in third place.

Nicky Ramos placed in fourth spot after she was knocked out by Francis, who scored on the board with K9.

Clinton Reddy ended in 5th place as his 10s were cracked by Nicky’s A9.

William Francis scraped through for the bubble prize of R500 in 6th place when he was knocked out by Nicky, who held big slick AK.

Ricardo “Kappies” Whittaker fell short of the money as he held KQ against Strini’s K9 ♠️ suited. The latter hand managed to flop the flush for the elimination.

Shameegh Suarez finished in 8th as his Jacks were cracked by Mr Chetty’s AQ.

Our next live game will be the R600 Turbo at the Concept Club on Thursday at 7PM.
