Ramees Miller, Riyadh Slamang, Shane Davids and Byron Beukes were the big winners as they shared the spoils at the Concept Warm-Up Tourney #3 on Thursday night.
Each player decided to square the prizes equally, a hearty finish to an highly entraining tourney, which saw 40 players buy in.
Final table report
9th place: Noellan Adams
Noellan is one of the newer regulars this year and did well to reach final table on this occasion. Unfortunately, he had bad timing as he made a move with the short stack. All in with QJ, he was dominated against Shane Davids, who called with KJ and held up.
8th place: Vicky Moodley
It was cooler city for Vicky, who ran AK into Ramees Miller’s Aces. The big pair held up.
7th place: Ikey Sauls
Ikey was all in with A10, but ran into Reza Slamang, who called with AK. The Ace flopped, giving the pot to Reza with the superior kicker.
6th place: Rachart Job
Rachart Job enjoyed a deep run during his first Concept tourney of 2020, but that came to an end at the hands of Reza. Saarta moved all in with Q8, which was called and beaten by Reza’s AJ on a dry board.
5th place: Reza Slamang
Reza enjoyed great momentum, but made a serious misstep with A8. He moved all in from late position, and ran into Ramees Miller’s pocket Kings in the blinds. Both players had monster stacks, and Ramees raked it all in as he held up.
Final 4 Split
After three blind levels and tight play from the final 4, they decided to split the pot, ending the game in good spirits.
Well done to all the winners!
