Bradley Jansen enjoyed hot form on the final table to take down Concept Midweek Game #32 in Goodwood on Wednesday night.
Bradley, also known as “Wang”, karate chopped his way through the competition as he made three of the eight eliminations en route to victory, including the final two knockouts which sealed first place.
From a field of 41 players, it didn’t take long for the action on final table to heat up.
Shaun Julie was the first to exit in 9th as he defended his big blind with Q9 ♥️ suited. After Jeremy Jodamus raised with AQ from early position, Shaun repopped with an all-in bet, which was called. The Ace flopped to seal Shaun’s fate.
George Hendricks battled with the short stack but his run was ended in 8th place. Raising all in with A10, he received two callers from Vicky Moodley (KQ) and Howard Gabrielse (QJ). Vicky turned tripped Kings to win the hand.
Cas du Toit hit the rail in 7th place when he went all in with Q10. He was called by Bradley with A5, which spiked the 5 on the Flop and was enough to take the hand.
Carmen September finished in 6th place when she went all in with KQ. She received two callers, which saw Jeremy take the pot with A8, which hit an 8 on a low board.
Imraan Khan was out in 5th place after hitting top pair on the flop with 84. Jermey, holding K10, hit a King on the Turn, to secure the knockout.
Howard was all in with A4 and ahead in a race against Jeremey’s K6. But a King on the River saw Howard fall in 4th place.
Bradley stepped up a gear as he knocked out Vicky Moodley, who was all in with 104 ♦️ suited. Bradley, with K8, hit two-pair to take down the pot.
Bradley then shoved on Jeremey with KJ ♠️ suited, and received a blind call from the latter. Wang found himself miles ahead when Jermey turned over 34, but the cards took a massive lead on a 235 flop. However, a Jack on the Turn was good enough to seal Bradley’s first Concept victory of the season.
