ABOUT CONCEPT POKER CLUB

Concept Poker Club was founded in 2016 by a social group of avid poker players who wanted to create a more competitive sporting game.

The league format was then established to measure a poker player’s consistency and skill, ensuring that the person with the best overall form and results throughout the year would rightfully earn the Concept crown.

The club’s vision is to be one of the biggest social poker clubs in Cape Town – with a big focus on creating funds for various charities and good causes (click here to check out Concept Poker Club Charity Fund for more on this).

In keeping the game affordable, it invites players of all types to the league. In so doing, we improve our game by playing against a variety of players.

Core to our culture is to continually improve, so mentorship and coaching is encouraged when off the table.

We also value integrity in players as this establishes a level of trust which ultimately allows our network to grow.
