FRIENDLY SPLIT IN R800 GRIND!

James Yeat and Dylan Hughes were the big winners at the R800 Grind on Sunday.

James Yeat, who has recently joined the Concept ranks and has really enjoyed the live tournaments, picked up his first victory at the club.

He shared the top prize with Dylan Hughes, who continued his winning poker run this week with a second-place finish.

James and Dylan took home R6000 in the split, which was great value considering both players won their seats via a R80 Satellite. Amazing value!

An earlier deal was made, which saw 3rd to 5th fetch R5000 each and R4000 for 6th place.

The R5k prizes were collected by Ethan Naidu, Francis Chetty and Brian Sampson.

Patrick Perez was knocked out in 6th place when he shoved the short stack with KJ. Brian made the call in the small blind with Q9 ♥️ suited, and managed to turn the ♥️ flush.

The final table also agreed to 3 bubble prizes of R1000 each for 7th-9th spots.

Marco Botha was eliminated in 7th when he was all in with K8 ♠️ suited. He got called by Mr Chetty, who tabled A8 ♥️ suited and held up on a dry board.

Newcomer Gulzar Parker played his way to final table on debut, and was all in with KQ ♦️ suited in a three-way pot with Patrick (AQ ♣️ suited) and Ethan (AJ). Patrick scored the knockout as he hit the nut flush on a club board.

Chris Gin ended in 9th place as he shoved with Q3 on a Q410 flop. He was called by Brian, who tabled KQ and won with the bigger kicker.

WELL DONE WINNERS!
