GARETH TAKES TOP PRIZE IN R600 TURBO SPLIT

Gareth Duncan took down first place and R7000 as the Top 3 agreed to an ICM split in the R600 Turbo on Thursday night.

Gareth won the biggest prize as the chip leader, having agreed a deal with Marvin Clarke (R6500) and Mitch Voigt (R5000) to end the game.

Marvin will be happy with the result, having fought back from short stack during his final table run.

Mitch will be delighted with his cash as he won his entry to the live game for just R100 via the online satellite on PokerBros – emphasising the value of winning seats to the big games!

Francis Chetty continued his good form on the table, having cashed the top prize in last week’s live turbo. He finished in 4th place on this occasion, after making a move with K5 on the button, but ran into Gareth with pocket 6s in the big blind which held up.

Carol Botes – a poker visitor from Durban – enjoyed a deep run on her first showing at Concept. She finished in 5th place as her big slick AK was cracked by Marvin’s pocket 3s.

Reza Slamang capitalised on his satellite seat to finish in 6th place. His AQ fell to Gareth’s pocket Kings.

Sean Botes (who also won a satellite seat) and Rashid Harricombe also made the money as organisers decided to pay the entire final table, instead of the Top 6 only.

Overall, it was a fantastic tournament and fun night of poker with 43 players entered – *creating a prize pool of R27 000!*

If you weren’t there this week, you definitely missed out on great entertainment and cash value.

WELL DONE WINNERS!

We now look forward to the Concept Grand Slam (R1000 buy-in) on Sunday.

Registration will open today. Win your seat for cheap in the PokerBros satellites on Friday and Saturday.
