RIYADH, HERMAN SHARE THE SPOILS

Riyadh Slamang and Herman Nelissen agreed to split the cash to finish off an exciting Concept Grand Slam on Sunday.

36 players showed up for the R1000 buy-in tournament, creating a prize pool of R41 500! And R15 000 for first place!

Riyadh and Herman decided to split the Top 2 prizes with blinds peaking and the pressure building. They took home R11500 apiece.

Riyadh had the chip lead, and will be recognised as first place to calculate Concept Player of the Year points.

Francis Chetty finished in third place as he was knocked out by Herman. It was Mr Chetty’s third cash in a row, having won R4500 and R3000 in consecutive tournaments. He landed R7000 for the bronze finish on this occasion.

Cameron Ohlson did well to grind with one of the smaller stacks to finish in 4th place, and claim R4000 for his efforts.

Herman did the damage midway through the final table, eliminating Veronica Chetty and Reza Slamang in 5th and 6th place respectively.

Two bubble prizes were agreed on final table, which were taken by Gareth Duncan and Vicky Moodley in 7th and 8th respectively.

WELL DONE WINNERS!
