5 PLAYERS BOOK JOZI TRIP

Chris Hadzi and Rachart Job were the big winners in the first Million Rand Chase Satellite on Sunday.

26 players showed up on short notice in what was an entertaining tournament at Concept Social Poker Club, which created _a prize pool of R30 000!_

In a 5-way split, Chris and Rachart were the notable chip leaders and were happy with a R7000 packages for the trip up to Montecasino.

Chris grinded well during the day, and won the biggest pot of the tournament with Quad 7s against a full house with Aces.

Rachart found himself the bottom stack with 10 players remaining, but played himself back into contention after a triple up. Two big hands on final table – holding AQ and pocket Aces – secured his top prize.

Gareth Duncan, Vicky Moodley and Uri Hartuv finish in 3rd-5th place respectively, and accepted R5000 packages for their efforts.

All 5 players will head up to Johannesburg on 13 May to compete in the R4000 fixture, *which has a R1 million guaranteed first prize!*

Tariro Vanderlinden was the unfortunate bubble girl in 6th place as she was all in with AJ, which couldn’t connect with a dry board against Vicky’s pocket 4s.

Herman Nelissen sunk on the River with K10. He flopped top two pair, but Gareth hit a 4-card straight on 5th street.

Strini Govender finish in 8th place. He lost most of chips against Rachart, before handing the last scraps to Herman, who won with Ace high.

WELL DONE WINNERS!
