Jesse Cupido and Timothy Fairbairn were the big winners in the R600 Turbo on Thursday night.
It was another great live fixture at Concept Social Poker Club with 41 players entered, creating a R26k pot! The original first prize was R8000.
Jesse (centre) and Tim (left) both ran hot as they couldn’t miss throughout the tourney.
They decided on an equal split when they reached heads-up, which saw them earn R6500 apiece.
William Francis (right) ended in 3rd place as he was eliminated by Jesse, who flopped a Jack with KJ.
Timothy scored a double knockout when he called the all-ins of Chris Hadzi (AQ) and Nigel Heldsinger (109) with AK. The King flopped to call curtains for the latter two.
Patrick Perez placed 7th as he was all in with A7 ♥️ suited and far behind William’s AQ. Queen high was good enough on a dry board.
There were 2 bubble prizes created to see the entire final table make the money. These were collected by Francis Chetty (7th) and Stephen Courtney (8th) respectively.
